Jun Zhao is a senior associate at Fairtrade Asia Pacific. He served as a rural development specialist for the World Bank from 2010 to 2015 and currently works as a consultant for organizations including the World Bank, FAO, IFAD, EU, C&A Foundation, BCI, and CottonConnect.
Jun has more than two decades of experience in rural and agricultural development in China and southeast Asian countries. He has directly led several high-quality field studies. His recent experience includes research and evaluation in rural economic development, development project management (whole project cycle), organic farming (supports and certification), farmers’ cooperatives, and inclusive value chains.
